New Opportunities & Good News
Published on April 11, 2023 by Brian Burkett
Hello Friends!
It is nice to see a stimulus in the local economy lately, and traffic has picked up as well! This spring started in February, and we have only had a couple of days of cool days since, making it a pleasant beach retreat for all the Spring Breakers who have come down. If you have decided that you need a place down here, give us a call, we would love to show you around and help you find what you need!
As you will see in the statistics below, residential listings have increased in both Gulf and Franklin Counties. The number of properties sold has increased as well, which is a good thing, as we wondered how much the higher interest rates would affect the market here. Prices have remained about the same, and there is not as much competition for each property. We anticipate more of the same as we go forward into the second quarter of 2023. We expect a steady increase in listings and buyers for the next quarter as we progress into the summer months, and we have added more agents to assist you, so give us a call and let us help you find a place along the Forgotten Coast of Florida.
Sunniest Regards,
Preston J. Russ & Brian K. Burkett
