Things Only People Who Live By The Beach Understand

Things Only People Who Live By The Beach Understand

There is just something about the beach life and some things about living on or near the beach that only those who live hear truly understand.

For most, the beach is a place to visit in spare time or go to on vacation. The idea of living here seems like a far-away dream. To those who live here it is much different, there are things that are only experienced and understood when you live by the beach.

The beach isn’t only useful in warmer weather.

There is nothing quite like wrapping up in warm clothes or even just a big thick blanket and walking along a quiet beach with the waves and brisk winds blowing. The deserted winter beach is beautiful in its own right.

Troubles seam to melt away when you just sit on the shores and stare out at the water.

Okay maybe a few people know this, and maybe anyone who has ever watched a beach movie. When the world has your head spinning, just take to the beach for some visual therapy.

When Trash is Left Behind It’s Personal

You wouldn’t walk around your home just tossing trash everywhere and leaving it there, so why do people do it to your extended beach home?

There is Always Something to Do Living Near the Beach

Even sitting and doing nothing is doing something when you are at the beach. Remember the second point above? There is never wasted time when you are spending it at the beach.

Food Tastes Better Sitting in the Sand

You have mastered the fine art of having a beach picnic, barbeque, or bonfire without adding the grit of sand into your meal. This is a skill all casual beach travelers envy.

The View is Never Old

Each sunset and sunrise is its own work of art full of local wildlife and a new water color painting. It is only rivaled by midday goings on and waves crashing or gently kissing the shore.

You have Come to Terms with Sand in the House

Sand is a part of daily life and sand coming inside the home is just part of life. If it shows up it means you are living. It is akin to other people’s everyday dirt, only better.

You Can Tell Beach Types

You enjoy people watching knowing that most beachgoers fit into categories and you enjoy being able to predict and gently chuckle at most of their moves.

Most of Your Clothes are Beach Wear

Is there any other way or need for dressing any different?

You Just Don’t Get When People Say They Don’t Like the Beach

What’s not to love? Really we will wait while you think of something, but your answer will be wrong.

The beach lifestyle is like no other, and those who live on and near the beach are a special kind of warm and friendly people.
